The Boss' Misconception

When back at the station, Leslie and Hector had been talking for a while to their boss about what had happened during the undercover assignments. He answered that “This was a bit unexpected. I did view her as a girl who sort of was into none-violence, and that this would mean that she wasn't completely evil!”

“It wasn't very much violence that she was actually into, this time at least!” Leslie said.

“What was it then?” he enquired.

She sighed. “Seduction,” she said. “And hypnotics!”

“I knew they were into those two things,” the boss answered a bit indignantly. “I don't feel like talking to you about the actually obvious essentials they have!”

“OK!” Leslie responded.

“Good! Then how about giving me a report on to what extent the cult is actually into feminism of some cruel kind! I mean they seem to be in that the women are so powerful, and active, it seems!”

“No, I don't think it can be that!” Hector answered.

“I doubt it that it could be!” Leslie said almost simultaneously.

“Why?” their boss enquired.

“Because their not into feminism,” Leslie said. “Instead their blatant about old fashioned witchcraft, and not dealing with any woman's lib for a modern, or even semi-modern society! ...”

“OK,” her boss responded. “But then how do they do their tricks of becoming femininely assured of that they should be staying whit the initiative of the cult?”

Both Leslie and Hector thought for a while.

“Perhaps” Hector said, “it's got something at all to do with taking over mens' initiative, but rather it's just happens more easily that the females are into keeping the stuff trendy in a smart way, or something!”

“I could imagine that they're really into being witches because they react that way against both atheism and Christianity, which of course men as well as women can do. ... I think that perhaps the feminine dominance springs from a lust for power that the cult people have found and which in a way doesn't seem to suit guys, at least not very easily, while it does suit females. ... In another sense the males in the cult can be viewed (I'm guessing now) as the initiative of taking an at least sort of even crueller initiative when the females of the sect tend to fail at being fatally cruel themselves.”

Her boss and her coworker both looked at her. “I don't agree!” Hector said.

“I almost disagree!” her boss said.

“Almost?” Leslie asked.

“I feel,” the boss said, “that they have a female initiative that finds itself to be out of the realm for a man, in that there isn't any male chauvinism that can reach to it. It might be that they're sexual because they don't agree with male standards for penile erection of being what sex is about!”

Leslie looked astonished. “I completely disagree,” she said after a while.

“I don't agree with either of you,” Hector said seemingly obstinate over them.

Their boss looked annoyed. “OK, then you both disagree with me! But there are clues to why the females tend to be more horny than males in that cult! It is the witches that really resurrect that female capacity I think!”

“I still disagree!” Hector said. “And why is it that you tortured me by having me be on a cycle to their meeting at a fairly dangerous hour. I mean they had already started being so arrogantly spiritual that there was a really big risk for my life, as far as I can tell!”

“I'm sorry, Hector,” the boss said. “I figured they would become more and more interesting, and I felt that we should have at least one investigator on them on at least one of these fairly early advanced hours of their meeting!”

“Is it that you feel,” Leslie broke in, “that he would be happy to see their so-called sexual instincts thrive - or that you feel that he as the man he (just like you) is should be punished by these bastards that seem to tend for what you seem to imply is a very good female resurrection into sex!?? ... Is it that you're being into a male chauvinism of seeing them as sex objects, instead of the really dangerous creatures they are!?”

Her boss was a little intimidated by her, but soon said: “I will not discuss this as if you didn't have it in me into take them as the threat you as well as I should be dealing with as such!”

She studied him, a little bit frightened of being reprimanded - or even blackmailed - by this guy.

“I don't feel as much as you do - nor can I easily believe Hector does - that these girls are either innocent or some stuff that you should define as an anti-male cult. They do not seem anti-male to me! I don't believe they are into anything but a type of magic - or so to speak, that is - which is more suitable for women - at least nowadays!”

“I agree,” Hector said.

“Probably,” Leslie continued, “their seeming against what you call male chauvinism is simply that their issue of staying with the magic is not quite male-friendly per se. It's not they - at least not necessarily so - but their system of being so-called magical that is anti-male, I think.”

The boss looked at her. “I can't believe that you believe I'm into faking that their into feminism!” he burst out.

Leslie looked at Hector. He seemed to be on her side. So she continued: “And what happens to the male subordinate whom you believe to be happy about getting really close to them?! I believe it's not he at all who was happy about it!”

“No, I wasn't!” Hector interrupted. “I felt extremely threatened by the cult, both boys and girls there by the way! ... And a few elders - or so to speak! ... There were only fairly few people older than twenty-two there! What it's about is that these cult members all are dangerous, and remember that it was a girl who tried to shoot me with her bow and arrow - or at least so it seemed! ... Even though that can be interpreted as the intimidation they want me to suffer, there is not much telling me anything else than that she could have killed me! She, as well as the two men that rose as if to beat me up - or perhaps worse - before that, seemed very serious about that they wanted primarily to at least intimidate - and perhaps would kill if they weren't able to! So please don't have it that we don't have anything real about their really dangerous threats for the people they deal with.”

“I see,” the boss answered. “OK, I'll try to be a bit more careful about it henceforward,” he said.

“I can see that you understand me now, then Thanks boss!”

He turned towards Leslie who looked thoughtfully at him. He didn't seem to realize, she thought, that his boss was probably horny about them! She sighed and asked him if there wasn't “anything more important to be dealing with than to pretend as if we all are in agreement now!”

The boss looked at her a bit gravely. “I think that will be your first reprimand for this case!”
